Andrew Bremberg was nominated as the US Representative to the European Office of the United Nations in Geneva. The person in this position represents the US not only to the UN, but to the other international organizations based there. Bremberg has expressed extreme views on reproductive rights, stating that he believed rape victims should not have access to abortion services. He also supported the US government's threat to veto a UN Security Council resolution condemning gender-based violence if the resolution contained references to victims' access to sexual and reproductive health care.
